After completing his MBBS from SBKS Medical Institute and Research Center, Vadodara, Dr. Shah pursued specialized training in ophthalmology. He earned his Diploma in Ophthalmology from Medical College of Kolkata, followed by a Secondary DNB in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya. He further specialized with a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Surgery (FPOS) from H.V.Desai Eye Institute, Pune.
